6th Graders are Focusing on Weather

The sixth graders are learning how weather is "formed" and measured. They are focusing on temperatures in Celsius and Fahrenheit. They are learning how to convert temperatures from Celsius to Fahrenheit using the equation 1.8C + 32 = F. They were given homework on 2/25/10 to finish a table of temperatures to identify and examine the patterns between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperatures.

Testing In March

Starting the Week of March 1, 2010, 6 - 8th graders will be doing Learnia Testing. Testing will be from Monday through Thursday.
